  • Jenny Éclair says her most embarrassing moment was having her tampon fall out while on stage. She recalls: ‘I had leggings on and suddenly felt it creeping down my leg. I had to run off stage… I had to tell the audience the truth. People often ask why comedy is harder for women and the reason is because a tampon will sometimes fall out when you’re on stage.’

  • Comic Will Smith was unimpressed by The Sun’s front page this week evoking Barack Obama’s posters to back David Cameron. ‘Dear The Sun, Cameron is to Obama what Jive Bunny is to Elvis,’ he Tweeted.
