They have all bee shortlisted in the comedy category of the Sony awards alongside Radio 4’s Dickens parody Bleak Expectations and spoof phone-in Down The Line, the origin of the recent BBC Two comedy Bellamy’s People.
Meanwhile Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio has been nominated for best entertainment programme.
He faces competition from London’s Heart Breakfast with Jamie & Harriet, Steve & Karen at Breakfast on Galaxy North East, London’s Capital Breakfast Show with Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon, and Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show, also on Absolute Radio
And Richard Herring’s podcast As It Occurs To Me has been nominated in the internet category.
It is up against Answer Me This!, Hackney Podcast, the Guardian’s Media Talk and Real Radio’s Remembering Hillsborough
Meanwhile stand-up Toby Foster is up for best interview for his on-air clash with the English Democrat mayor of Doncaster, against such heavywieghts as PM's Eddie Mair.
And 21-year-old student stand-up Max Dickens is in the running for the ring star award – where fellow nominees include Jarvis Cocker - for his shows on Absolute Radio.
The winners will be announced on Monday, May 10 at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London, in a ceremony hosted by Chris Evans.
