More Rocks for Comedy Central
Comedy Central has bought the rights to air the fourth series of American sitcom 30 Rock in the UK.
The digital channel is currently airing series three of the Tina Fey programme, set behind the scenes of a weekly comedy show, after it was dropped by channel Five.
Although critically lauded, the first series only attracted about 500,000 viewers to Five, before being shunted to digital service Five USA, where its audience fell to about 100,000.
Series four is currently airing on NBC, where it attracts about 6million viewers, and will premiere on Comedy Central from April.
Comedy Central has also brought the rights to Ross Noble’s stand-up shows Sonic Waffle and Unrealtime, which it will be airing next month.
