Channel 4 is to air an all-female sketch show featuring stand-ups Josie Long, Sara Pascoe and Nat Luurtsema.
The broadcaster has extended its Comedy Showcase pilots season from six shows to seven to accommodate the new show, which has not yet been titled.
Completing the line-up of writer-performers are Two Pints Of Lager star Kathryn Drysdale, Kerry Howard who played Reggie’s secretary Vicky in the recent Perrin remake, and Lu Corfield, an occasional EastEnders actress.
The cast are not an established troupe, but were specifically assembled by programme-makers Objective.
Channel 4 comedy boss Andrew Newman yesterday announced he was leaving the broadcaster to join Objective.
