Gordon Ramsey gets animated
Gordon Ramsay is to star in his own animated comedy series.
The celebrity chef is to become an action hero in the half-hour show Gordon Ramsay: At Your Service – but without his legendary swearing.
It is being made by Toronto-based animation house Cuppa Coffee, whose previous credits include Celebrity Deathmatch, although the team is still looking for a writer
The stop-motion programme is to be touted to potential broadcasters at the Mipcom international TV sales conference in Cannes next week,
Cuppa Coffee boss Adam Shaheen: said: ‘We started creating the show before we decided to involve Gordon.
‘We wanted to create a family sitcom for primetime television about an action hero. It wasn’t until later that we decided our hero would be a chef, so naturally we came to Gordon. He liked the idea and agreed to be the voice.’
Ramsay is already a star in the US, where he fronts Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
