Bill's orchestral manoeuvres
Bill Bailey has announced a series of gigs supported by a full orchestra.
The comic will be playing ten concert-hall dates, beginning in Cardiff on November 6, where he will be performing alongside the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Further performances are confirmed for Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Coventry and Edinburgh before culminating at Gateshead’s Sage Centre on 14 December, with a different local orchestra at each show.
Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide To The Orchestra began with a Comic Relief special for Radio 3 in March 2007. Last autumn, he performed it in Brighton and at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where it was recorded for TV, going out on BBC Two in May.
