Fonejacker jacks in the phone

New pranks will be face-to-face

Fonejacker Kayvan Novak is working on a new comedy prank show… but without the phone.

The British-Iranian actor intends to spring on victims in person in the new programme, currently being developed for a possible Comedy Lab pilot for Channel 4.

According to trade magazine Broadcast, 30-year-old Novak will use prosthetics, costumes and make-up to become characters such as an African toilet attendant, a washed-up Iranian singer who drives a minicab, and an eccentric art gallery guide. He will then improvise around real-life situations.

If commissioned, the series – which is being developed by Hat Trick Production – would be unlikely to air before next year.
