McIntyre turns game show host

Primetime BBC1 slot

Michael McIntryre is to host a new prime-time game show for BBC One.

Time Of Your Life will revolve around people celebrating ‘landmark moments’ in their lives.

Producers recently put out an appeal for recently engaged couples, pregnant women, learner drivers and people moving out of their home for the first time, and sought ‘embarrassing or funny stories in relation to the above’.

The show is being made by Open Mike, the sister company Off The Kerb, which manages McIntyre. Its previous shows include Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding-Dong, with another Off The Kerb client.

McIntrye’s previous credits have included Live At The Apollo and the 2006 Royal Variety Performance, as well as guest spots on Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Thank God You’re Here and Mock The Week – but Time of Your Life will be the first show of his own.

A pilot episode is being recorded at he London Studios on the South Bank on October 3. Visit our Free Tickets page to be in the studio audience.
