Radio shows for if.com winners
O'Doherty and Millican
Both of the Edinburgh Fringe’s if.comedy winners have landed their own Radio 4 shows.With fortuitous foresight, the BBC had already confirmed one-off programmes for both main prizewinner David O’Doherty and best newcomer Sarah Millican before the festival had even begun.
O’Doherty will be recording a stand-up set for Radio 4, while Millican will perform in character as Jean, an incompetent marriage guidance counselor.
Both shows will be recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre on September 24, for broadcast later this year. To be in the studio audience, visit our free tickets page.
