Gervais records new podcasts

Fifth series will be his last

Ricky Gervais has recorded another series of podcasts – which he says will be his last.

Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington will return for the fifth series, which comprises four half-hour episodes.

The shows, which will cost £2.99, will be available on iTunes from September 16.

Gervais’s old – and free - podcasts are downloaded an average of 4.5million times a month, or 55 million times a year.
