Drugs rap for Office star

Robinson charged

Craig Robinson, star of the US version of The Office, is facing drug charges.

The comic, who plays warehouse foreman Darryl in the NBC series, was stopped by Californian traffic police in June – but details of the case have only just emerged.

Officers who pulled him over charged him with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of being under the influence of amphetamines, cocaine and cannabis.

Robinson, 36, plays a hitman in the current film Pineapple Express and has also appeared in Arrested Development , Curb Your Enthusiasm and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Last month, he was one of the hits of Montreal’s Just For Laughs comedy festival with his musical act.
