Vic and Bob return!
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are to appear together on a comedy stage for the first time in a decade.
The duo will host the BBC Presents… stand-up night in London next month, their first gig since their live version of Shooting Stars at the Hammersmith Apollo in 1998.
Producer Michelle Farr said: ‘We're delighted Vic and Bob are returning to the stage for BBC Comedy Presents. It is fantastic to see such legendary comedians in this intimate venue. It’s so exciting, I'm sure it will be a unique night.’
The monthly event at the Soho Revue Bar has seen some of the biggest names in comedy perform in an intimate club setting, including French and Saunders and Noel Fielding.
Reeves and Mortimer will not have performed in such a small venue since their residency at the Goldsmiths Tavern, South East London, in the late Eighties, where they were spotted by Channel 4.
The duo are said to be working on a new sitcom, based on a band of superheroes.
Their BBC Comedy Presents gig, which will also feature a line-up of up-and-coming talent, will be on June 2. Click here for tickets.
