BBC's phoney sketch group
The Idiot Pebbles are a spoof comedy troupe, said to be celebrating more than 30 years as a ‘much loved and honoured’ act.
Tittybangbang star Lucy Montgomery, Down The Line’s Rhys Thomas and Tony Way from Fun At The Funeral Parlour will be playing the group through the decades in a one-off show to be recorded in London next month.
Meanwhile, Radio 4 is also assembling a number of comics for a genuine new sketch show.
Stand-up Stephen K Amos, Jeremy Lion creator Justin Edwards and Katherine Parkinson from The IT Crowd are among the cast of The Big Show.
A BBC spokesman said: ‘This is the show that tackles modern life's trials - big and small.’
A full series is being made next month – to go to the recording, see our Free Ticketspage.
