Fringe first
The official programme will be launched next Thursday, but we have already compiled details of almost 300 shows heading for the festival.
This year’s comedy line-up will be bigger than ever, thanks in part to a huge expansion in the number of free shows.
Both The Free Fringe and The Free Festival – rival groups with broadly the same aim – will mean scores of less established comedians can bring shows to Edinburgh without having to pay for their venue. The Free Festival alone has more than 130 shows.

The listings are as accurate as we can make them, but some details, may be subject to change when the official programme is released.
