Enthusiasm star to make UK debut
Curb Your Enthusiasm star Susie Essman is to make her UK stand-up debut at the Newbury Comedy Festival.Organisers say her shows there, on July 13 and 14, will be her only UK dates this year
In the hit HBO show, Essman plays the venomous wife of Larry David’s agent Jeff, but she started her career as a stand-up and boasts more than 3,000 gigs under her belt.
The Newbury festival – which runs from July 7 to 14 – also features Phill Jupitus performing as part of an improv troupe, plus shows from Ardal O’Hanlon, Arthur Smith, Ed Byrne, Mark Thomas and Adam Hills.
