Only Eeijits and Horses

Scotland gets its own market traders sitcom

The BBC has commissioned a new sitcom – about a couple of dodgy market traders.

Twenty-six years after Only Fools And Horses launched, BBC Scotland has ordered six episodes of Legit, which has a similar premise.

It will star Steven McNicoll as hard up dad Fox, and Jordan Young as womanising Danny, two young Glasgwegians trying to make a living selling dodgy gear in the city’s infamous Barras market.

Independent production company The Comedy Unit won the commission following a pilot episode written by Iain Connell and Robert Florence that was transmitted on BBC OneScotland in September.
