Ninia joins Sky's big top show

3 Non-Blondes star Ninia Benjamin is one of the celebrities learning terrifying circus skills for a new Sky One reality show, it was announced today.

In Cirque de Celebrité, the 32-year-old stand-up will compete against 11 other celebrities in a series of stunts including the rolling globe, the human pyramid, the trapeze and a blindfold high-wire walk.

Also taking part are Big Brother contestant Grace Adams-Short, Lee MacDonald who used to play Zammo in Grange Hill, and 400m athlete Jamie Baulch.

The line-up is completed by Apprentice contestant Syed Ahmed, models Sophie Anderton and Emma B, sports pundit Mark Bright, ‘Handy’ Andy Kane, Emmerdale actress Nicola Wheeler, Blazin’ Squad’s Kenzie and Eighties singer Sinitta.

Cirque de Celebrité, which is hosted by Ruby Wax, will begin with a 90-minute special on Sky One this Sunday at 7pm.

As well as the award-winning hidden camera show 3 Non-Blondes, Benjamin, 32, has also appered in Lenny Henry’s BBC One show Len on the One.
