To commemorate this, Universal have this week released an Abbott and Costello DVD box set.

However we have one set to give away to one lucky reader.
The set includes such classics as Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, In the Navy and Buck Privates, their breakthrough movie. Many of the double-film discs in the set is also available separately, priced £15.99Bud Abbott - the tall thin straight one - and Lou Costello - the short fat clownish one - officially got together in 1936, and after achieving huge success with their radio sketches, they moved on to films in 1940. The simple, farcical formula of their films made them the biggest box office success of the early Forties.
