Welsh stand-up to host a live TV ad
Welsh stand-up Chris Corcoran is to host a unique live advert for an internet dating site on prime-time ITV.
The comic will try to find dates for two romantic hopefuls during the three slots during Saturday night’s final of Love Island.
During the slots for Match.com, one man and one woman each get 30 seconds to win over viewers and persuade them to email in if they want to go on a date. The results will be posted on the website.
Chris, 28, told the Western Mail:’ It was great to be chosen. They said they were impressed with my accent. They seemed to think it had just the right amount of friendly cheek.
‘We Welsh are naturally friendly, and very good at spreading the love around. That's what this is doing - spreading the love around.’
