Free 'Cock'
British comedy A Cock and Bull Story, the spoof on the moviemaking process inspired by attempts to film the ‘unfilmable’ novel The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman is out to buy on DVD on Monday.
Starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, the cast also includes David Walliams, Stephen Fry, Dylan Moran and Gillian Anderson, improvising their dialogue under the instruction of director Michael Winterbottom.
The DVD’s special features include audio commentary with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, behind-the-scenes footage, premiere footage and an interview with Tony Wilson – the ‘Madchester’ impresario Coogan played in 24 Hour Party People, and who makes a cameo here.
