Langham arrested
Chris Langham has been charged on 15 counts of making indecent images of children.
The 57-year-old star of The Thick of It has been bailed to appear before Sevenoaks magistrates next Wednesday, Kent Police have confirmed.
Langham, who lives in Cranbrook, Kent, was originally arrested in December and bailed after questioning. He was arrested after he answered bail yesterday.
The arrest comes only days after Langham won a Bafta for best comedy performance for his role as beleagured Minister Hugh Abbot in Armando Iannucci’s acclaimed political satire.
A Christmas special and a second series of the comedy has been ordered by the BBC.
