From Persia with love...
Comic, US sitcom star and movie actor Omid Djalili will be conducting a web chat with Chortle readers on Tuesday, August 2.
The online talk comes the day before the first Edinburgh performance of his one-man show No Agenda.
Anglo-Iranian Djalili first visited the Fringe in 1995, and this is his sixth show there. His last, Behind Enemy Lines in 2002, was nominated for the Perrier.
As well as that, he has appeared in the hit films Gladiator, The World is Not Enough, Spy Game and the Mummy.
But his biggest break came as Whoopi Goldberg’s long-suffering handyman on her prime-time NBC sitcom last year.
Djalili will be chatting on Chortle’s forums from 4pm on Tuesday. If you’ve got something to ask him, visit now to set up an account in advance.
