O'Hanlon to tour

Father Ted star hits the road

Father Ted and My Hero star Ardal O’Hanlon is to tour Britain this autumn.

The 33-date tour, starting in Dartford, Kent, on October 1, will be his fourth nationwide tour.

Publicity for the show says: ‘Turning 40 this year with ants in his pants, he laments his lost youth and searches for meaning in his life… this is Ardal’s most personal show to date.’

O’Hanlon has recently returned to his stand-up roots, with   a half-hour special for American TV and one of the guests performing extended sets on Jack Dee Live At The Apollo on BBC1.

He will be seen later this year in a new sitcom Ben Elton is writing for the BBC, called The Stockholm Syndrome.
