Vic admits drink-driving

...and loses his ad deadl

Reeves immediately lost a lucrative voiceover contract with Churchill insurance after admitting being over the limit at the time of the smash near his home in Maidstone, Kent, on Friday March 25.

The town’s magistrates have now told the 46-year-old comic he must not drive until he is sentenced.

A further charge of leaving the scene of an accident was adjourned until April 21.

Chairman of the bench Alan Phipps granted Reeves, whose real name is Jim Moir, unconditional bail until the next court appearance.

Announcing they would no longer be using Reeves in their campaigns, Churchill spokesman Greg Dawson said: "We take all road safety issues extremely seriously, so feel that this can be our only course of action."

Reeves made no comment to reporters as he left court with his wife, Nancy Sorrell
