Stand-up comic Justin Moorhouse has been nominated for one of the top awards in radio.
He has been shortlist for best DJ Of The Year in the prestigious Sony Awards for his show on Manchester’s Key 103 station.
He’s up against Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, BBC London’s Danny Baker, XFM’s Christian O’Connell and Jo and Twiggy from Trent FM in Nottingham.
Moorhouse hosts a show on Key 103, the biggest commercial station outside London, from 1pm to 4pm every weekday, and 9am to midday on Saturdays.
The nominees in the separate comedy category are the Radio 4 shows Clare In The Community, The 99p Challenge, The Complete and Utter History of the Mona Lisa, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy andThe Museum of Everything.
Winners will be announced at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on May 29.
