The DVD from next Tuesday’s mammoth Comic Aid tsunami benefit is to be released on March 4.
All 3,500 tickets for the gig at London’s Hammersmith Apollo were sold within just three and a half minutes of going on sale.
Jonathan Ross, Jack Dee, Graham Norton, Julian Clary, and Lily Savage host the three-hour show, with a line-up that includes; Lee Evans, Dawn French, Jimmy Carr, Ardal O’Hanlon, Johnny Vegas, Bill Bailey, Jo Brand, Jon Culshaw, Omid Djalili, Otis Lee Crenshaw, Eddie Izzard, The League Of Gentlemen, Dylan Moran, Dave Spikey, Simon Pegg & Jessica Stevenson.
BBC1 will broadcast the first half of the show from 9.15pm to 10.15pm on the following Saturday February 26, followed immediately by the second half of the show on BBC2.
Radio 2 will also broadcast‘Comic Aid with Mark Radcliffe, featuring behind the scenes interviews and stand up from the show at 10pm on Thursday.
The DVD, Comic Aid Live And Uncut, is being rush-released to benefit the Disasters Emergency Committee, and will be priced £15.99
