Comics dominate Celeb Fame Academy

Al Murray, Adrian Edmondson, Jenny Eclair and impressionist Jon Culshaw are to feature in a new version of Celebrity Fame Academy.

They will be holed up together for two weeks from February 26, in the run-up to this year’s Red Nose Day.

And each night they will have to sing a live song, even though the celebrities chosen are not generally known for their singing voices. There will be regular evictions until the winner  is revealed on March 11.

The other contestants are Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman, EastEnders' actress Kim Medcalf, DIY SOS host Nick Knowles and Top Of The Pops presenter Reggie Yates.

The last series attracted an audience of around 7.2million viewers an episode.
