Hunt for best student comic begins

Chortle’s hunt for the best student comic in Britain kicks off this weekend.

Scores of comics from around the country have entered the competition, with six regional heats taking place over the coming weeks.

The first takes place in King’s College London, on Sunday; followed by shows at Manchester on Monday and Coventry’s Warwick University on Tuesday.

Further heats in Bath, St Andrews and another in London take place later in the month.
