Another gay in the village
Sir Elton John is to appear in a Little Britain sketch for next year’s Comic Relief, claiming to be the ‘only gay in the village’.
Elton, 57, filmed his scene opposite Matt Lucas in London this week, and it will be screened in March.
In it, he is interviewed by Lucas’s rubber-clad character Daffyd Thomas, who has taken a job as a reporter on his village paper in Llandewi Breffi.
Elton is asked a string of innuendo-laden questions, such as g whether he likes to “give or receive at Christmas”.
Lucas told The Sun: “It’s hilarious. We had lots of fun taping it.”
The Comic Relief special will also star George Michael, who this week had a well-publicised spat with Sit Elton as they criticised each other’s music.
In his sketch, filmed earlier this year, Michael is subjected to a torrent of abuse from Lucas’s wheelchair-bound Andy, to the dismay of carer Lou.
