David evicted from Kings Of Comedy

David Copperfield has become the third and final comic to be evicted from E4’s Kings Of Comedy house.

The Three Of A Kind star lost a phone vote to fellow veteran Mick Miller in Thursday night’s live eviction show.

He said: “In this place there really is a lot of pressure.

Citing Andrew Maxwell as the stand-up most likely to triumph in next week’s final he said: “I love Andrew – I love them all.

“I especially like Ava [Vidal]. Televisionland has a space for a young, beautiful black woman like that.”

It was the second time in two weeks Copperfield had been up for eviction, winning a phone vote against Glaswegian Janey Godley last week.

Earlier in the show, Stan Boardmand had been saved by model Cat McQueen, a comedy rookie who had been dropped into the house for the past week to learn tips from the other competitors

Andrew Maxwell, as the winner of the week's stand-up shows, selected Boothby Graffoe to remain with him in the house

And gent Vivienne Clore, the guest judge, saved Ava Vidal, who earlier in the week had tearfully complained that she was hating her time in the house.

In the show's first week gay San Franciscan Scott Capurro was controversially ousted after the phone lines failed
