A musical... for no notes!
Stephen Sondheim’s classic comedy musical A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum is being revived at the National Theatre, London – and we have four pairs of tickets to give away.
RSC regular Desmond Barrit plays conniving Roman slave Pseudolus, and the supporting cast includes Hamish McColl, half of the comic duo The Right Size, satirist David Schneider and sitcom star Sam Kelly.
The musical, which the Guardian said "has strong claims to being the funniest musical written", inspired Frankie Howerd’s Up Pompeii and was famously made into a star-studded 1966 movie featuring the likes of Zero Mostel, Phil Silvers, Buster Keaton and Roy Kinnear.
It is currently in previews, with opening night this Friday.
To stand a chance of winning one of the four pairs of tickets, just answer the following question by July 14, when the winner will be chosen from all correct entries received.
Good luck.
