Behaving badly again

Morrissey reunites with writer Nye

Neil Morrissey is to be reunited with Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye for a raunchy new sitcom.

Carrie and Barry, described as "unapologetically rude", also stars Claire Rushbrook and Mark Williams.

It is described as being about " a couple with the usual things on their mind-sex, but not any old sex, work, the walking nightmare that is a teenage step-child, boredom, the challenge of renting your house out to a dwarf, and how to get the most out of your hot-tub.

The show will also have a hint of the surreal, as the couple rent their house out to a dwarf.

Nye is one of Britain's most prolific comedy writers. Since Men Behaving Badly he has penned Hardware, The Savages, Is It Legal?, Wild West and Beast.

A source on Carrie and Barry, which records in London this summer, said it was "raucous, laugh-out-loud funny, and most definitely post watershed".
