Earl's a singer...
Earl Okin is to release a new album next month 36 years after his first single.
The musical comic recorded his first track in 1967 at Abbey Road studios, where he was spotted by Paul McCartney. He later opened for a Wings tour.
Now he has secured a five-disc deal with Sony Jazz, with the first album, Musical Genius And Sex Symbol, out soon.
The disc was recorded in fornt of an audience in London's Downstairs At The King's Head comedy club, and features unique cover versions of Song 2 and Yellow, as well as his own compositions.
