Brits head down under

Noble, Mack head NZ comedy fest

Ross Noble and Lee Mack are heading the British assault on the New Zealand Comedy Festival in May.

They will be joined by Russell Howard, Danny Bhoy and Andy Parsons as representing the best of UK comedy.

It will be Noble's third visit to the festival, held in Auckland. After sell-outs at The Classic venue in 2000 and 2002, he moves to the bigger Sky City Theatre for a five-night run.

Sketch Show star Mack will be making his New Zealand debut, supported by Howard, although festival producer Scott Blanks says: "He has been on my invitation list for five years."

The festival runs from April 30 to May 22.
