Morris shoots C4 pilot
Controversial Brass Eye creator Chris Morris has filmed a pilot episode of a new Channel 4 series
Smack The Pony star Doon Mackichan took a small part in the show, but admits she doesn't know what the finished product is like.
She told Teletext: "I have no idea what the whole programme is about. My contribution was very small so I will have to see the pilot to see how it fits in."
Mackichan, who worked on Morris's previous show The Day Today as well as the headline-hitting Brass Eye special on paedophilia, says his influence can still be felt.
"Some aspects have dated but the points made are still very relevant," she said. "I watched Kilroy the other day and he still sounds like someone off The Day Today or Brass Eye.
"We spoofed fly on the wall documentaries on The Day Today. You can see it carried on in The Office.
"There have been some comedy presenters who have just been doing a Chris Morris impression."
Mackichan also confirmed that she wwould not be reuniting with Smack The Pony co-stars Fiona Allen and Sally Phillips for a return to TV screens.
She said: "We're not going to do any more. We were not able to write any more sketches. But we've done a film, Gladiatress, out next spring."
