G whizz!
Ali G has landed a second series in the States.
Cable TV channel HBO has ordered a new run of six half-hour programmes, scheduled to run next summer.
The first series of Da Ali G Show, which aired in February, was a critical and ratings success.
It was nominated for an Emmy for the best alternative series, and attracted an average audience of 1.4 million. A rerun in April performed even better, with figures of 1.7 million.
The show was also run on Channel 4 in the UK as Ali G In Da USAiii - and it is being released as a two-DVD set next month, featuring more than an hour of additional material. Click to pre-order at Amazon.co.uk and save £5.
The second series of Sacha Baron Cohen's show - which also features naïve Kazakhstani reporter Borat and Austrian fashionista Bruno - will be produced by Britain's Talkback studios, Variety reports.
