Brydon returns to Radio Wales

Marion And Geoff creator Rob Brydon is to be reunited with his former collaborator Alan Thompson this weekend.

The pair spent six years working together on BBC Radio Wales, during which time Byrdon developed the character of optimistic loser Keith Barret.

He also performed a range of impressions, including a recurring Elvis Presley impersonation.

And on Saturday he is to appear as a guest on Thompson's show on Radio Wales to promote the DVD release of Human Remains.

The pair worked together on an entertainment show on the station called Rave from 1991 until 1994, where Barret was conceived

Thompson says: "We also did a show called The Rush Hour together from 1994 to 1997.

"And it featured a weekly phone call to Elvis who was supposedly alive and well and living in Borth, with his Welsh wife Megan Presley and a celebrity entourage including Anthony Hopkins. Rob did all the voices for that."

Alan Thompson's Late Lie In is on BBC Radio Wales from 11.30am on Saturday.
