BBC7 to showcase more stand-ups

Digital radio station BBC7 is to showcase a fresh collection of stand-ups new to broadcasting.

Spanking New On 7 is the archive channel's only original comedy commission, and a second series is to be recorded next month.

Robin Ince will again host the showcases, which will be taped in Manchester's Comedy Store.

Seven shows will be recorded on October 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20 and 21 - and free tickets are available from the BBC ticket unit.
