Comedy magicians get prime-time slot

Comedy magicians Danny Buckler and John Lenahan are to appear on a prime-time BBC1 show about the secrets of magic.

The pair are half of a four-strong team of magicians appearing in the Saturday-night show Secrets Of Magic, expected to have its pilot airing on August 2.

The hour-long show combines illusions with a elements of Call My Bluff as celebrities try to guess how the tricks are done from a shortlist of options.

Ulrika Jonsson, Leslie Grantham and Donal McIntyre all take part in the pilot, which is hosted by Nick Knowles from DIY SOS.
