Mackenzie's school run
The Office star Mackenzie Crook is to tour in the guise of his comedy creation Mr Bagshaw.
The comic has said he enjoys performing the character, a sadistic but incompetent PE teacher, more than his role as Gareth in Ricky Gervais's award-winning sitcom.
In one interview, he said: "He's an amalgam of about seven bastards who made my life hell. I had a teacher called Mr Bagshaw, but it isn't based on him. He's actually a really nice man, and I feel bad about that."
Crook, who has just filmed Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp, and The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers with Geoffrey Rush, has also been developing Mr Bagshaw for a sitcom.
His 25-date tour kicks off in Cambridge on November 2, and ends with a week-long run at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London.
Oram and Meeten will be the support act.
