Comic lands film role

Comedian Jeff Mirza has just landed a part in the French movie Ne Quittez Pas!

He has just finished filming his part of a friendly Asian Cab Driver who shows leading French actor Sergio Castellitto around London.

Although it is a French film, Mirza's lines are in English, which is handy, as the stand-up doesn't speak French.

It's also the second time he has played a cab driver - taking the same role in the 2000 crime flick It Was An Accident.

Ne Quittez Pas! (Hold on) is directed by Arthur Joffe and will be released in Europe and the UK in the autumn.
