Lip-sticky moment
Julian Clary had his own sticky moment this week - after losing his vital make-up moments before going on stage.
Horrified at the prospect of performing in his extravagantly camp outfits without lipstick and mascara, he scoured the town for replacement.
A nearby drag queen club came to the rescue, offering him a full make-up kit, so he could take to the stage at the Bournemouth Pavilion.
The 43-year-old comic told the Daily Mirror: "By the time I realised I had no make-up the shops were closed so the cabaret club really saved my bacon.
"I can replace make-up so I won't hold it against Bournemouth."
