Rik and Ade to tour Bottom again

Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson are to tour again with Bottom.

The duo will hit the road in October for the fifth stage version of their hit TV show.

Although the full schedule has not been released, the pair will play at least 15 British cities and two Irish ones, including runs at the Hammersmith Apollo, Manchester Apollo and Nottingham Royal Centre.

All the previous shows - the last being 2001: An Arse Oddity - have also been released on video.

Rik and Ade have been persuing solo theatrical careers this year, Mayall touring in Noel Coward's Present Laughter and Edmondson taking the title role in The Life and Times of Young Bob Scallion at his local theatre, the Northcott in Exeter.
