Morris wins Bafta

Satirist Chris Morris has won the Bafta for best short film.

His ten-minute movie My Wrongs Number 8245-8249 And 117 collected the accolade at the London bash last night. However Morris was not there to pick up the award.

The film, based on a monologue from Blue Jam, about a man who no longer uses his name because he's decided he doesn't deserve one, and a talking dog called Rothko.

It cost £100,000 to make and starred Paddy Considine, who has previously appeared in 24 Hour Party People. Morris provided the voice of the dog.

The film is out now on DVD. Click to buy
