Claire joins comedy bill

Actress Claire Sweeney and rock keyboardist Rick Wakeman are to join the line-up of a comedy fundraiser later this month.

Comics including Al Murray, Hattie Hayridge and Paul Zerdin are taking part in the Big Big Comedy Bash at Reading's Hexagon Theatre on February 23.

The gig is raising money for Children in Touch, a charity which helps autistic children.

Others scheduled to appear include John Moloney, Less Bubb, Sean Meo and Mark Walker.

Tickets for the gig, which has been organised by comedy juggler Steve Rawlings, are priced £15 and available from 0118 960 6060
