Why Fielding landed music vid role

Noel Fielding has been recruited to star in a new music video - to make up for the band's lack of charisma.

The comic fronts the video for Blue Song, the latest release from geekish dance duo Mint Royale.

He plays a getaway driver dancing to the track while waiting for the rest of his gang to pull off a heist.

The band's Chris Baker said: "He looks more like a pop star that we ever will."

Spaced director Edgar Wright directed the video for the single, which is out tomorrow.
