No 'Sex' please
Sex And The City is to end at the end of the next series.
The final show will be aired in the States early next year, makers HBO has announced.
Twenty more half-hour episodes will be made for the sixth series, with filming starting in New York on March 31.
They will be aired in two parts - the first 12 from June and the final eight from January 2004.
However network executives still hope the show might one day return.
HBO's Carolyn Strauss told Hollywood trade journal Variety that the decision was made by those making the show, but added: "Everybody involved is entitled to change their mind."
