Live Floor Show goes nationwide

Scottish stand-up showcase The Live Floor Show is to get a nationwide audience from next month.

Two series of the show have been aired north of the border, but from January 18 it will be screened on BBC2 in England and Wales too.

English mime act Men In Coats have joined the regular team of Scottish-based comics, which has yet to be confirmed.

Mick Dow and Maddy Sparham, the comics behind Men In Coats, said they were very excited about working on the show, as it will give them the chance to try out new work on a wide audience.

Guest comedians and music acts will join the regular team in each of the ten weekly shows.

The programme will be filmed in front of an audience on the Thursday before transmission.
