Charlie's in the chair

Lib Dem leader hosts HIGNFY

Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy is to host Have I Got News For You.

He will chair the penultimate show in the current series, to be aired on December 13.

Kennedy, who has appeared as a panellist on the topical quiz six times, will donate his fee to charity.

This week's episode will feature Boris Johnson MP as host, with guests Clive Anderson and Stephen K Amos.

Since Angus Deayton was dumped by following newspaper reports about his private life, the show has been fronted by Anne Robinson, Paul Merton and John Seargent.

Deayton is working for the BBC this weekend, filming a 20th anniversary reunion of the Radio Active team.
