Coogan: 'I slept with Liam Gallagher'

Steve Coogan has revealed he once ended up in bed with Liam Gallagher after a heavy boozing session.

He joked that he walked "kind of funny" after the incident, which started during a drink bender in Ireland - but said "nothing happened, as far as memory serves".

He told US talk show host Conan O'Brien: "I remember waking up the next morning on the bed. I looked over and thought, 'What happened? Liam Gallagher is lying on my bed.'

"It was a very drunken night. We were in this posh hotel castle and went down in the dungeon where there was a bar.

"There was a woman playing the harp in there and she said to Liam, 'Would you get up and sing for us? He wouldn't but he told me to get up and sing - so I did Wind Beneath My Wings.

"The next thing I remember was waking up on top of the bed with him. I've felt a bit funny about it ever since."
